Short Bio:
Elif Cepni was the former Rector of Dogus University and former Vice President of Bahcesehir University. She was appointed as the Rector of Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University in July 2019 to set up a system of the newly established university. She completed the task in November 2019. As of January 2020, Prof. Cepni is professor of management (decision making) and Dean, Karabuk University's Faculty of Business Administration. Prof. Dr. Cepni is the author of "A Guide for Economic and Financial Indicators", as well as "The Economy of Turkey in Retrospect" and "Let’s Get Developed". In addition to her writing, she has also taught courses ranging from "Microeconomics", "Macroeconomics", "Development Economics". She has been teaching "Advanced Economics" in Ph.D programs and "Scenario Planning and Strategic Foresight" and "Organizational Creativity" in Executive MBA programs. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Corporate Change Academy. She gives talks periodically on "Decision Making under Uncertainty and Strategic Foresight" as an invited speaker in various institutions.
